I want to get everyone's opinion on how they number close.

In DYD, DeAngelo suggests getting her email, then asking for her number as she's writing the email down. This was written around 2002 I think, when email was more popular than txting is. I've tried asking for facebook names (some worked), email then cell as he suggests and then cell. I also joke about they could txt me but not if they blow up my phone 100x a day. Another thing I say is "what's the best way to keep in touch with you?" since I am asking them what is THE BEST way to KEEP IN TOUCH. It suggests I want to keep in touch with them, which I feel is worded a lot better than "I'll text you sometime".

I've also tried DeAngelo's "trade info" bit, which is "I gotta run....hey, let's trade information and I'll catch up with you later". I've tried it a few times and the women just look at me with blank stares, then ask "what information"? I say well what's your cell/email? How would you all reply to this?

What other methods do you use? I'm focusing on getting my hook point, because I feel that 90% of the time I don't have a hook point and that's really the reason they're not giving me their info. I also find it hard to believe guys who get number closes after less than 1 minute but hey, they're PUAs.

If there is mutual appreciation this should work: "I really want to continue this conversation but I got to go. Is there anyway I can contact you? (polite tone first) (Take our you phone and don't wait for reply, pass it to her) Just key your number here and give it a call." (sound like an gentle instruction rather than a plea)

Continue to fluff talk when she is keying in the number.

If there you are not confident she will buy into it due to the imperfectness of previous gaming parts, try to give a good excuse to play safe.

PUA: "Oh you love Japanese food. My mom loves it too. I really want to give her a good treat on her coming birthday but I don't know which restaurant is best."

HB:" XX is nice, blabla...."

PUA:" Oh where is it and what's best about the place? Ok, never mind, do you mind leaving your contact so that I can consult you in detail? That was a great piece of advice..."

try getting the number a while before you are leaving. from the girls' perspective, you are just picking up.. UNLESS you have already make that known (confidence, alpha, fun,) and she likes you.. then it doens't matter what you say because you're in.

also number itself doesn't mean jack. in fact, aside from logistical issues, a number close is kinda a failure... because there's nothing about a number close in the emotional progression model... just go for the kill if possible.

but if anything.. don't say info. that just sounds weird. be open and confident. if it's on, use a reference and frame future date to get number or if you haven't got to that point (which if you are running game for a min of 5 mins and you haven't gotten there... something is wrong) just be like "hey my buddies are waiting for me, we're going to bounce (to another venue)... but you seem fun to talk to so maybe i'll call you sometime. give me your number (and i personally hand her the phone because there are a few times when i got the number wrong since the music was so loud).

it should be a natural thing and most girls will NOT not give out their number. it's awkward. what they will do is not pick up your calls or text you back if they got a weird vibe from you. but just be alpha and confident. don't ask, lead.

I'll remember that for next time. Usually it's tough because I try and act alpha but most of the girls I talk to are shop girls, cashiers, women in the mall kiosks. Usually it's dead where they work, but after 2 min of talking to them they get a customer for the first time in 2 hours. I'm going to try and think of an opener that evolves around them being bored that I can get them into it and number closer after a few. I basically play cocky/funny about they love their job because all they get to do is read magazines and do homework, keep that going for a good minute or so and then talk to them about how dead and boring the mall is. I need to find a good transition from opener-2nd stage and from there to number.
