I was just wondering this PUA stuff is all about picking up women and sleeping with them right? The majority of PUAs are out to have a good time and not settle into a LTR straight away - I mean if I have it correct and please do correct me if I am wrong, PUAs are basically man whores who are completely glorified for their pick up skills which lure women into bed.

Right?

Ok so, why is it so different for a woman to be a mad pick up artist? And don't give me that shit that women cannot or should not pick up men. If a woman is a mad pick up artist who manages to fuck a whole bunch of men, why is she not considered a hero like the man is? Why is she considered a SLUT (which is a horrible word and extremely offensive to most women)?

And why are women who aren't even sluts called them? If a girl goes out to have a good time and flirts a little with boys or whatver, why is she called a slut? And why do so many guys believe that a woman can never change - if she used to be a party girl, who's to say deep down she isn't desperate to be a housewife and was just enjoying her youth? It makes me sick guys who call women sluts and that even a PUAs game can't change her from a skank to a loving wife - I mean what does that say about the game anyways? If you can't get the most "challenging" woman to do what you want her to do, then obviously your game is fucked and you deserve to have a 2 cent whore rather than a fun party girl.

Sorry for the ranting and raving - a very close friend of mine has been fucked over hard and I just wanted to put this out there for any male opinions.

It's really immature to think that you can change a ho into a housewife. When a mature, worldly guy meets a girl, he just accepts her faults, he doesn't try to manipulate her into being another person. That's a fool's game. I know a lot of women marry guys thinking, "Oh, he's got really bad qualities, but I can change him." We know how those work out. If you're angry that a man can be a hero and a women will be the scum of society for the same behaviors, the term for that is "double-standard".

My theory is, there were some aging men that had a sexually active past and grew to be husbands. Or maybe these guys were abused as children, for whatever reason they grew to think of sex as dirty and fear female sexuality (scared their wives would cheat on them). Since males have traditionally dominated media since the beginning of media, these men had the power to label female sexuality as something gross, impure, unhealthy. In short, calling women sluts and whores is an attempt to limit women's sexuality, to guilt them into being straight and narrow. Of course, limiting female's sexuality has consequences on us guys, too. That's why we need game in the first place, to undo a lot of negative social conditioning aimed directly at women.

The only way you can break out of this double standard is by not caring what people think of you and embracing your sexuality, which is especially difficult for women since they are more socially sensitive. I'm pretty interested in the topic, so long post.

Aye, there is this thing called life. Just like women can wear pants, but its gay for a man to wear a dress. Double Standards exist between the two sexes, just accept it. If a woman sleeps around a lot SHE's A SLLLUUUTT, if man does it, hes the MAAAN. I could sit here and complain on why I'm expected to be on top in sex working hard while she lays there and takes it with little to no effort at all?? NO! Point is double standards exist ITS LIFE.

But a woman doesn't have to accept it. Being called a slut and a whore sucks, but not having sex at all isn't much fun. The key is not to care what other people think so much and to be SECRETIVE. There are guys that won't ask about your past (but you damn well better not ask about mine).

Womed will call other women sluts. Guys will give props or a simple high five to eachother. Men will call a women a slut or a skank, sure. But a women will call a man a player or a manwhore. Out of my experience, the only real difference is that women will look down at eachother for being a slut. While men look up to eahother or give respect.

For a woman to get a lot of guys she has to be:

A-freaken-Men ZeroValley! s probably the biggest thing to it. For the average man it takes some work to get a woman to just sleep with him. The more attractive probably less work. Woman its not the same. As long as your not completly jacked up and busted a woman can get laid easier. An average woman wil still get hit on and probably 9 out of 10 times if she were to throw it out there somebody will accomadate her. I don't care pesonally because as long as she isn't packing any extra baggage(STD) she can be a "slut". If I want to sleep with you and your handing it out that makes it easier for me. Unfortunatly it isn't that simple and i'm not fabio so I have to learn how to be a pua.

Welcome to life. Its cruel and not nice. Get use to it. FYI more and more guys actually encourage girls to approach them. And there is a reason why people generally should not look for someone to marry at a club/bar.

Hmm, I was having this discussion 2 days ago in a room with 7 guys and 10 girls and we actually had a conclusion believe it or not.
This is a tough debate/argument I've had a few times before

We concluded that it is GIRLS that are the problem not the guys, guys don’t seem to mind too much if a girl screwed 50 guys, I mean look at prostitutes they would be in the 100's, possibly 1000's..And they get serviced every night

So the label of 'slut' is quite possibly the worst thing a girl can be called. So why do women call each other sluts? Well there are many reasons, so the 'other girl' can feel better about herself, a lot of the time it is purely spite, or personal attacks and many other reasons

The whole man 'sewing his seed and women rearing young debate' I don’t think is valid these days, BUT we still are evolutionary programmed to abide by these characteristics

Ask women. I've seen far more women call other girls sluts than than men.

This is why we have to worry about ASD, isn't it? A girl won't do things in front of her friends that may get her called a slut, so we have to do things like isolate the girl and even in the bedroom have to do things like freezeouts because the girl herself thinks she'll be a slut if it goes too far, even though that's why she went home with the guy in the first place!

A lot of guys don't think anyone (male or female) can change. A lot of women think that too, and the ones that don't tend to spend a lot of time in abusive relationships trying to change the guy.

I, like you, don't think it's right. I try not to judge a girl's past unless it's something ridiculous (imo) like 30+. It work for guys too btw, just not as much.
