So I had been dancing a couple times with an HB8 on the dance floor.. we'd go about 2-3 songs before we'd take a break then I'd find some other girls and eventually come back to her. We danced about 4 times, for about a total of 10 songs.

It was clear to everyone on the dance floor that she was my target now. So I asked her to dance one last time before I left and she said of course. So we're out there dancing in the center for a long time until no one else was out there. it was just me, her, a few other chicks + 1 guy.

So the problem starts when they mix a song over to one that was popular with the wanna-be gangsters. They all started screaming and moved the the dance floor to do a soldier boy type dance. It took up the whole floor and no one was dancing with each other. They were just skipping around with there hands in the air. I don't even know what the song was called. But that's beside the point.

So me and my girl move to the center where a big pole was so no one could skip around there anyways, I thought we were relatively out of the way. Plus, that's how I've seen it done in other clubs.. sometimes there will be a few people grinding in the center and other people around the side are mingling/doing there thing etc..

Well this black girl bumps into me and goes "BOY! you need to move! you ain't even cute"

I was dumbfounded at first. It's not like she could even do what she wanted to because there was a pole in the center where we were dancing.. So I said the first thing that came to my mind "How bout you move."

I found it pretty rude. Plus, I was having a last dance with this girl before me and my wing bounced. I had been up there with her for awhile, I feel I had the right to be in the center given everyone else had just flooded the stage.

My girl hadn't been listening to any of it, so I just told her it was getting kinda crowded and we should wait until these people are done..She agreed and I wound up just getting her # and kiss closing her because of the whole situation..

I just wanted to know what you guys thought about this? What would you have done?

Overall it was a good job. To avoid that situation, I would have isolated the girl you were dancing with. You could have asked her to move to another location.


As far as those "gangsters" go, there was not much you could have done. The girl who told you to move could go fuck herself for being an ignorant bitch and judging someone. If she ASKED you to move, that would have been fine. But she was probably just a dumb ignorant hood rat who thinks its cool to insult others. Don't sweat that. Just be assertive and polite when it comes to gangster trash.

I forgot to mention, she was with a friend who was wanting to dance, so she wouldn't sit down. I tried to isolate my girl a couple times with no luck. Her friend wasn't having any of it.

So the only time I was really alone with her was when we danced.

Then you did the best you could lol

Sometimes there will be a pickup situation that nobody can get around.
