I don't believe so. It depends on the person - one caucasian guy could be an amazing PUA and another caucasian guy could be hopeless. One Asian guy could be an amazing PUA and another Asian guy could be hopeless. It's all up to the individual.

I agree that it does to some extent and to other extents it doesn't and heres why ...

Society portrays an image of many different groups of people It really depends on how well theese groups are viewed . This stereotype that society portrays on people if it is largely negative then this will reduce your chances of succeeding with people who believe in these stereotypes and who care what their family and friend's think .

However If you deviate from this stereotype and make it known then it really should not matter

I mean if your a black guy going for the whole 50 cent look then expect the stereotypes which comes with the look you may be able to suceed with some girls but the ones you do will be limited

however if your a black guy and you deviate from this and go for something like this



Then the stereotype is changed and your chances should be increased.( ok maybe not theese guys but you get the picture)

In the end to play the game you first need to master society's rules .

i still don't think you'll ever see me dating a black chick, regardless of stereotypes

Ethnicity can factor into your game depending on the girl. As there are girls out there that have a preference for one ethnicity over others.

Ethnicity = Preference

Some gals like white, others like black. Some like peanuts, others pistachios. One group prefers Detroit muscle cars, another digs European super cars, etc. The point is the people (male and female) gravitate toward what they enjoy and what they are comfortable with. If an Asian dame has only ever hung out with her own ethnicity, it's going to be difficult to get her to break out of her own comfort zone and date outside her group....what she's used to + social proof of her group = works against your gaming. Not impossible, but not easy either. AFCRoyal is right, but if SHE thinks it matters, you might just be wasting your time/energy.

I do like where Zappo is coming from though. Fitting in to her (or your) particular group adds to your social proof (for that particular group), but at the same time it doesn't help you stand out. Peacocking by playing against stereotypes is definitely a good way of setting yourself apart from the average joe of the group, but you need good inner game in order to pull it off.

In terms of ethnicity and pick-up:

Newbie: Pretend ethnicity doesn't exist and rattle off cans.

Average PUA: Pretend ethnicity doesn't exist until the topic comes up and then address it as if none of it matters.

Experienced PUA: Use his and her ethnicity and culture to his advantage. In fact, understand all of his surroundings. . . the make up of the bar, location, age group, life experiences, etc . . . and use it ALL to his advantage. The experienced pua addresses potential issues and concerns preemptively and attempts to turn all situations to his favor. By no way am I saying that I am successful with this every time. However, it's important to note that this should be the goal, not only with pick-up but life in general.
