I will be honest with you guys: My ability to make people laugh is about a 4/10.

I need to learn how to be funnier. If I make a joke, I will crash and burn about 3/4 of the time. I need help. There is a huge hole in my pickup skill because of this.

Before you guys give suggestions, I would like to know if there is anything that specifically teaches a guy how to be funny.

In my opinion, watching stand up comedy or funny movies does not teach me how to be funny because I have no idea what comedians are doing to be funny. It just makes me laugh. This is the same for being a pickup artist. Watching Mystery or any other MPUA does not help someone seduce women if they have no idea how a PUA is picking up women.

I would like to know if there is anything like Mystery Method or Double Your Dating for comedy. I need something that specifically teaches HOW to make jokes or be funny.

Much appreciated if anyone can help me with this problem.

My issue is that I avoid being funny because I'm too afraid of making a joke and fail. I just need to learn it better.

I'm absolutely rubbish at telling jokes and yet I can make people laugh. I usually base my comedy on saying outrageous and offensive things with the blind hope that the issue doesn't effect anyone I'm saying the things to.

Not everyone's idea of humour right enough but sometimes you have to take the risk.

The way I began building my funny was through going to house parties. 90% of all parties I attended during my training, had at least a few people I knew from school/the area. From there I would tell DHV stories from past events with those friends. "Funny moments" were thrown in which will make anyone who hears it laugh. Doesn't make too much sense, I tend to just DO instead of think. I may throw in a bad joke here and there, but I learn what is a no-go and what'll have the crowd pissing themselves.

Telling jokes and/or being funny simply comes down to your delivery. Record a stand up comic and instead of just listening to them, listen to how they deliver their jokes. Listen to what parts they get more vocal on and what parts they get softer on. Also watch their body language as well as that also adds to delivery.

The only way we ever learn any behavior is through Operant and classical conditioning Basically we learn by copying Role models and through reward and punishment

Ok This is how i became funny .........I wanted it badly and i mean really badly . First youve got to want it that much for it too actually happen

Next you need to be daring , if you think somethings funny say it , if it fails just say this " your not my crowd" or " its cheesy but it tickles me"
This uses the reward and punishment method that works without you even realizing it. Say if you said something that you thought was funny but it wasnt you wouldnt repeat it ( punishment) but if it was funny you would repeat it ( reward) just whenever you see something that you find is funny just go for it !

Next we go onto modeling you need to subject yourself too funny people , funny tv shows i suggest " two and a half men" "fresh prince of bel air" and " friends" now everytime that someone says something funny you type that bad boy quote into your phone and save it in your drafts ( on record i have 198 things saved in my drafts)

What to do then is just experiment with theese quotes , maybe put your own spin on them to make them more personal . Using the reward and punishment method find out when the best time is to use them and you will eventually become funny ( trust me ) it will come naturally it just takes time ( i promise it will take between 3-6 months before it becomes natural too you but its worth it trust me )

After you use other peoples material just observe your surroundings and exaggerate things. Or what never fails is the " thats what she said !"
e.g. " im so wet " you " thats what she said !"
or the "thats the second time youve said that today !"
e.g. " wow thats so big" you " thats the second time youve said that today "

just look some e books on the topic on the internet.
