You've got a really good point here. Sometimes saying nothing at all shows that you are so far above and beyond shit tests. You aren't going to react to something so stupid and negative as one of her bitchy shit tests, showing that it doesn't affect you. This conveys immense value in you.
But it isn't 100% of the time that you can ignore shit tests. Sometimes, ignoring a shit test is just you hiding from having to respond. Once in a while you will need to respond to a shit test. That is when these quick-witted remarks come in handy.
I totally agree that in most cases, you should not react to shit-tests at all (as Sinn and 60 years of challenge is very firm about as well). She fucking wants a reaction from you, that's why she is testing you. Yes, that reaction can be something cocky-funny, but you still thought you had to defend yourself with that cocky-funny comment, and she detects that.
I prefer 60 years of challenge's way of handling it: Eye contact, smile, turn head slightly away and break eye-contact, then turn head back to her and re-engage eye-contact.
If you don't respond, the shit-test never really happened.
However, to the above shit-test, I would consider giving her an answer:
Shit test: "Why do you look so nervous?"
Answer: "Oh, don't worry about me blushing, I simply tend to get a little nervous when I'm around beautiful women. (wink)"
If mystery was here, he would hit me in the head and say: "NO! YOU DONT GIVE HER A COMPLIMENT!!"
But the fact is, I'm being honest and ballsy, and that conveys confidence. Also, I'm heavily escalating the sexual tension verbally by saying she is beautiful.
If I had negged her because she shit-tested me, it would be because I thought I had to defend myself, and if I went into that defense-mode, it would only tell her that she got to me with her shit-test.
