I was wondering why you guys are or want to be a PUA? Myself I would like to be able to talk with woman and feel chilled and to find a long relationship.

A little from column A, a little from column B. I do it to expand my options. Some girls are for relationships, some girls are for gratifying sex. I want to have the tools so when I decide I want female company, I have a handful of women that want to be there for me.

You're missing a really important one here:

"To improve my life in general".

Improving with women will help all areas of your life. That's what really makes a PUA. They are someone who has finally improved their life so that they can be successful in all endeavors.

If improving my relationship with women improves all aspects of my life, doesn't that mean all aspects of my life revolve around women? That is a really scary thought.

"To improve my ability as a lover" would be a good choice, too.

Right now just looking to score but I want to better myself so I can pick the perfect woman for me rather than settling with what I've got which is what I've been doing up until now. Serial monogamist. Time to stop the madness and have some fun!

I do it to better my all round life and social circle, whilst my social circle was never bad, I have been shy with women, women say I'm good looking but I just get worried sometimes. The PUA way of life brought me out of my shell, to not care, try new things, and be that fun guy.

If I score I score, if I want a relationship it'll help me get one. Go with the flow.

Even if you had a list of 1000 options it wouldnt be enough.

My forth option. Because of the game.Because I love it. because it helps me improve my life. Because it improves my inner game. Because inner game is the path to a greater path.

No. No, it does not.

If you want to learn to sky dive because it will help you conquer fear, and then you use this new confidence to get a raise in the office, does that mean your whole revolves around skydiving? No, it doesn't.

Gotcha. Layers in layers. I've been meaning to ask you, isn't your screen name self-defeating? I never used to call myself a PUA, I used to say I was still AFC all the time and you know what; it made it true. Now that I accepted myself as a PUA, I feel much more solid in my abilities.

Haha, yeah, it does sound kind of weird. The AFC part is to keep my ego in check, the other part is to really get psyched up.

Getting into the game has actually improved my confidence and really helps with how to deal with women issues, we know we get those often.

So aspiring to be a PUA so I can be the life of the party ;D

There is a period in your PUA journey where you have to pay attention to your ego. It is when you start getting results and your inner game becomes better. Your inner game will improve in leaps and its after like the second leap that you think that you are invincible and awesome. In this period you need to remind yourself that you aint seen nothing yet... bbbbbaby.

You will get overconfident and you game will become worse as well, fight it and you will be fine.
