| On this site we mostly focus on the aspects of opening and closing, but we rarely talk about the middle phase when we transition from creating an attraction to building rapport so we can hopefully f close in the future. I feel pretty comfortable opening, talking, getting the number, but I am still a bit weaker following it up.
Mini field report because I am asking for a bit of advice for this particular situation.
Went clubbing with a few friends and towards the last half hour of the night me and my boy started grinding with a blonde and a brunette. The brunette shot me down earlier in the night, but I have the "I dont give a fuck" mindset when Im at the club and went to dance with the blonde when my boy grabbed the brunette. After two songs the brunette stopped dancing leaving me with the blonde, so it was do or die time, I immediately grabbed one of the blondes hand and turned the dancing up a notch. I did this so I was physically holding on to her with the hopes she wouldnt walk away and it worked. For the last half hour we grinding slow, fast, any pace to any song. When I held her hand I would move it in various directions every 5-10 seconds and just a tip for you guys, when you are holding it in the air in the position adolf hitler would hold out his arm (I know bad reference but its an easy visual) the next move should be to lead her arm to the back of your neck and then let it go so that she is keeping her hand on your neck. Works like a charm.
Another good move is to lead her hand a little above the back of your knee and let go. Usually and in my case and many others that I have tried, she will grab onto your jeans tightening the gap of your bodies, this is when I flex my chest and ab muscles so I know she feels them . This is shit that nobody taught me, I learned by just experimenting and seeing what works. Its pretty basic but for years I wouldnt do anything but hold my hand on her hips and the dancing would end after a song or two. Every time I have done these sets of movements, Im dancing with the same girl for at least 25 minutes. Always get the number as well, sometimes a little kiss or quick hookup.
Okay so I get her number before she leaves after the lights turn on the music turns off. While we were dancing, I slowed it down and talked to her a little bit, go her name, where she goes to school, she mentioned she hand a boyfriend and this is how I followed up...
blonde: I have a boyfriend
me: oh really...is he here watching waiting to kill me ? (slight smile)
blonde: no he didnt come out tonight
me: how long have you two been going out?
blonde: *holds up 5 fingers*
me: oh wow 5 months
(this was make or break at this point, I was just really blunt about this but I said this with a smile)
me: do you love him? (yes i put her on the spot, ironically in a dark dance floor)
blonde: *shakes her hand (like in a sort of motion)
me: alright then after we are done here we are going to exchange information and Im going to take you out to dinner next weekend, how does that sound?
blonde: sounds good *smiles*
(back to dancing)
So thats that, I actually want to pursue this and I do care because she was pretty hot with a nice body so I dont really want to fuck this up.
How should I go about doing this, my friends were saying to text her the same night but I didnt. I was thinking about doing it today but like I said im not really good at this sort of thing so any ideas of how I should go about this and what I should say?
