Went to an alternative night with some old friends last night, not my usual source of entertainment but figured it was somewhere I could get some practice in. So what did I learn, should have pre-emptid this and intercepted the guy once he started talking to the girl. Get some introductions and position myself between him and the girl so a grab and run wasn't an option. Anyone anymore suggestions? Couldnt run a jelousy plot line due to club layout and lack of sets kicking about.

This is the first time I actually got annoyed at a guy through a field report. You seemed to have that one in the bag. Though she did come on very strong, which can be a little misleading.

-Yes, it's a good idea that, when an obstacle comes in, you immediately introduce yourself and get a small 30 second - 60 second conversation going where you do 50% of the talking.

-Maybe you could've done a grab & run yourself. I don't know enough to be sure though.

I would say she already had some connection to that guy and she was just killing time with you.

the reason I say that is that she was just instantly gone. If he was just some random dude, and you had some rapport with her, she would not have left that quickly, and maybe not at all. She should have at least said goodbye or waived as she walked away if she was feeling any rapport with you.
