I've taken this HB9 out once (unfortunately not the most intelligent). She was really into me, but is quite under confident.

Since then we've been texting each other and she has shit tested me quite a lot, which I've dealt with well. I saw her the weekend and I could tell that she was still into me and I said I would take her out on Thursday night, she said she wouldn't be able to let me know until Thursday I said you have to let me know by Tuesday as I'm a busy guy - she laughs (she was playing hard to get).

Text each other Sunday and Monday, I call her on Tuesday night - no answer, leave a jokey message, try again an hour later, still no reply.

So an hour later I text her:-
hi jane (name changed), I called you to let you know that I'm taking you out Thursday, I'll pick you up at 8:30pm, be ready .

She text me back, "Sorry I missed your call , I'm out shopping at the moment, I thought you were busy on Thursday night .

I text back "No I'm taking you out, see you then."

I go around to pick her up tonight, her car is there. Her sister answers the door after about 5 minutes (she lives with her), acts all suprised and I say is your sister here, she says no, is she supposed to be? I say yes I was picking her up, she said try ringing her (I did no reply), I say okay and look like I don't give a shit and leave (by the way I work with the people all day long and I know that she was covering).

Ten minutes later I get a text from 'jane':-

'Hey, sister called me a little annoyed, i'm so sorry i'm wedding shopping with my friend tonight, I did text you, really sorry .'

I don't reply - she lied, she never text me. 30 minutes later I get this:-

"oh god, I feel terrible, I'm a little dippy sometimes really are totally mortified & of course very very sorry, ermm directions out of this mess? I'll text you again tomorrow to grovel some more and apologise again, genuine mix up, "

I haven't replied as yet. Needless to say, I'm not interested in this chick anymore. I even think THIS is a shit test. She has tooo many issues. My question is, how do I answer? She normally drinks in the same bar as me weekends.

Do I:-

i) Not reply at all, she's not even worth it. She may think she has a reaction. If I see her say hi, but act like I don't give a shit.

ii) Reply with this:- "Ha ha, no you didn't text. I've come to / went to my friends restaurant opening. I'll call you to rearrange." And then never call or get in touch with her again. Implying that I don't give a shit - but does it also imply that its okay to stand me up?!

iii) something else.

Dont respond. Go to the bar with some friends and hopefully she'll accidentally run into you. If she is there, let her approach you and let her apologize. Tell her: "oh hey its the girl that stood me up, whats going on?" - something witty along those lines. Stay firm and act as if you lost interest and make her make it up to you.

If you're not interested in her, don't bother answering. If you see her again, just tell her that you don't want to continue the relationship you have going if she isn't ready, if she was really ready she would have been looking forward to the date, etc...
