I never request friends on Myspace, but I select my target and message her the following.

If you get that same question, it shows that your target has already qualified you as her type and is now showing interests.

I'm confused, you say keeping higher value yet you're showing that you are very self conscious about what the girl thinks of u. You are lowering value IMO

I think you're absolutely right! It does come off as a solid opening, but after looking deeper, just this part of the opening...

How bout, "Even though you don't look like my type, the fact that you're (enter compliment about personality here, aka - ambitious, goal oriented, family values,whatever) is a sight for sore eyes."

Some thing of that nature. I've gotten replies back and even ended up # closing and goin out to a concert next month. Best of luck!

i tried the "you dont look like my type.." and she quickly replied and tried to qualified herself by sending me her pic..
