I've known this girl from a distance (literally, she lives in Canada and I live in Texas.)for more than a year and we've been taking things in a very slow and platonic way. There was a time that we were very close and things escalated into being a sort of e-relationship. In the end we figured it was best we end things and try things again when we meet.

Well we met just a few weeks ago, there was such a high sexual feeling between us we instantly started fooling around. We had our first kiss and of course later on I started to feel her up. The problem is that I see NO WAY of this working out. Not at this time.

I already told her via Text message ( I should have told her in person, i know.) that I am basically going to give her space for awhile for her to get her head on straight and see what she wants in her life. (She has attachment issues with an Ex, and her uncle died) I don't want to get attached at this point because I know I'll just end up getting hurt.

So basically, I told her that I'll wait for her until she's ready to start a friendship or a relationship.


I kind of regret saying this, because I most certainly don't want to seem like a wuss. But I want to end things in a way I don't burn any bridges.

Any ideas on what I can say? Or should I just leave it at that?

p.s. I am of course going to move on. I'm still young, and I have plenty of time to experience life. I plan on dating and just simply, living my life.

I guess I just want to leave the field open for more things to happen in the future.
