I just moved from Florida to North Carolina about a week ago. Wow, what a change, and not in a good way whatsoever. I just finished my first year of college, and suddenly I'm thrown into a completely new enviornment. I know literally nobody in the area my age, let alone good spots to try and meet people. Back in Florida I had a pretty sizeable group of friends, and finding girls was not a problem.

I soon realized that meeting people is much easier with a group, or even a single wing. As I walked through the local mall on a quest to meet girls I found that the huge self confidence I thought I had was no where to be found. I found that I have AA, not to say I didn't before, but to the point where I felt socially awkward to go up to somebody.

I just finished reading The Game about a month ago, and I knew that I either had to deal with my AA, or walk right back out the door I had came in as a failure. Well I have to much of an ego to give up, so I decided to knock out to birds with one stone and pick up some good clothes for peacocking at the same time as meeting women.

The first store I walked into was pretty empty. I lingered around a bit, looking at some cool belts when I saw two girls walk in. They were heading in my direction, and I had it planned out what I was going to say as soon as they were close enough: 'You girls wouldn't happen to know anything about belts?'. However, right as I'm about to say something I hear the dude working the store ask, "Do you need any help finding the right belt?"

Well shit, there went that plan. He ended up helping me buy a pretty cool belt so atleast that worked out, but I didn't get to talk to the girls before they left. Anyway, I go into another store, again pretty empty when I walked in. Then, again, two different girls (HB8's) walk in. I'm determined this time. As they are about to walk past me, I ask:
"You girls wouldn't happen to live around here?"
They did, so I went on:
"Oh cool, I just moved here about a week ago (they both smile) and for the life of me I can't meet anyone or find anything to do."
One girl asks me where I am from, and I tell here from Florida, and continue on saying:
"Back there I could close my eyes, spin, and walk into something cool to do. So what's the deal with this town?"
They laughed and looked at each other for a second, then one told me that there was nothing fun about where we lived, and it sucks that I had to move here. Looks like I am in for one hell of a summer. Anyways I continued:
"So there's nothing fun to do? What are you girls going to do all day after you leave here, stare at a wall?"
Again laughing, and then one says:
"Well there are some cool bars downtown that are fun on the weekends"
I'm a month shy of twenty, but thank you college for a wonderful fake, and the oppurtunity to continue this conversation. I see my opening, and how I need to start steering the conversation to get there:
"Bars are always a good time, but I am not a big fan of going to them by myself. It sucks to drink alone you know?"
And bam, it worked. They told me they were planning on going on Thursday, and said I should meet them there.
Wow, I am so proud of myself at this moment in the conversation. I know I have to keep calm and not pounce on the offer like a creeper, however. I tell them that sounds like fun. We exchanged numbers, and I walked straight out of the mall with the biggest smile on my face.
This all happened just earlier today, and I figured it was worthy of my first post. Thank God for The Game, I would never have had the confidence or knowledge to even pull off such an easy number close without it.

I dont know if you realised it yet, but you have a wonderful line to start the conversation. You just moved in here ! Thats gold ! You just want to meet some people, get to know the place, find fun things to do around. So use it, suck everything you can out of this situation. Best of luck to you :)
