Hey guys, I'll keep this brief as to be honest it wasn't a long process.

I was queing up at my local supermarket for some stamps, in front was a HB 8 on the phone, I heard her talking, she mentioned she's feeling lucky today so she was going to buy a scratch card.

She then got off the phone and conversation went like this:

Me: Hey, so your feeling lucky today right?

Her: Yeah, how do you know?

Me: Well I was right behind you, if your vocal cords were any louder everyone would know.

Her: Wow, am I that bad?

Me: Your bad, just not that bad and I winked.

Her: She giggled, said she likes honesty, started asking me how my day was then my what my name was.

Me: "My name's Chel. and yours?" I then said it's been great day so far, beautifull weather, and looking forward to a good night tonight. Then I said " sorry I can't stay and talk, I've got a lot on this afternoon, but give me your number and I'll let you know how my night goes"

Her: " My name's Lisa. Ahhhh okay, sure that sounds good!" Followed by her number.

Me: Catch you soon girly!

So all in all a number close pretty easy with a HB 8, while I was doing a bit of shopping.

Quick and easy, both confortable and no awkward silence or looks....seems to me that she gave her number pretty damn easy. GJDM

Thanks guys, only my second or third day approach really, appreciate the feedback, always want to up my game!

Basically I thought by me telling her I'm busy, and I have a busy night ahead to look forward to it kinda dhv'd myself, then I didn't give her a chance to ask what I'm upto when I said I had to go, therfore she just gave me her number when I asked her too.

I have already set up a meet with her for tomorrow.

Nice going Chel. If you want to step up a bit, try to bridge. I'll call you up sometimes might get you more flakes. I might be wrong though and maybe you really stired something in her.

If you keep on getting numbers like this (and it's good btw, not dissing anything) and get a lot of flakes you might want to look into that advice.

Bridging would be something closer to fixing plans. So chit chat a bit, get to know a bit more about her and invite her to something she will like. I.e. she likes art, you invite her out to a galery you've been wanting to go to. She likes music, you invite her to a nice jazz lounge... Make plans on the spot. She is a lot less lilely to flake.

Also another good trick is to have HER add you in her phone at the same time as you take her digits. Having a name when the phone rings is good! :P

Samburns, I'm going for a drink with her, somewhere local. She's been talking to me today, telling me she's a huge animal lover, I said to her " well seen as the weather's getting better, if I enjoy your company maybe we can go to the zoo soon, I laughed a bit too"

She seemed to like it, said she looks forward to it.

TheJ your advice is good, My approach could have been better, I took a chance and got a number and a meet already. Bridging is important in future for me.
