| Greetings, you can call me Tulisan which in Tagalog/Pillipino means...
I currently live near Metro Manila, Philippines. Though I am originally from North America – I look Filipino and am in my late 30’s. I am enjoying my time here in the Matrix.
I just finished the book, “The Game” and realize I had been playing it at different times in my life. Sometimes successfully sometimes acting like a classic AFC with the results to prove it. I also had flash backs to the guys in my life who were naturals who had consistent game and whose skills (though at the time I thought they were just lucky or born different) I admired and coveted. It is impressive how far “The Community” has taken the game in such a short amount of time. It's inspiring to here about how many have improved themselves for the better.
If I have a pet peeve it's people who have settled to be sheep in the system. I guess that's why I like zombie movies...
Back in 89 I found the book “The Fine Art of Flirting” it became a bible for me. It gave me the confidence and an idea of how to connect and approach but everything after that was a hit or miss. While I could create initial sexual tension I had no idea of how to build, maintain, or direct it. It became uncomfortable and it was an area I eventually left alone.
While I had a few dates in college. Sex when it happened seemed to be a cross of stars or magic. Though to be honest my first was done in PUA style and she even told me I could be a player. At the time, guys who had a lot of dates or who were seen with a lot of women where called players. Here in the Philippines the modern equivalent might be Babaero – but Babaeros might be successful just because they have money and no game. Players are much more like a west coast predecessor to the modern PUA.
The woman who was my first stayed with me for a month but decided to break of with me when she realized I was more interested in meeting more women than building something with her. With no guides and with the loss of confidence in loosing her I dropped back into the world of AFC.
While I have my past and a number of things that I think will take me far, I would say I am new to the game and looking forward to playing “the game”. In my twenties and early 30's the game was always about dating. In my 20's dating always seemed like a lot of work and then in the end I would end up in my next long term relationship. In my 30's I finally learned to just have fun on dates - but then they either turned into friends or LTR. I am looking forward to creating a new cycle.
I plan to start with reading and applying the writings of Mystery, Mehow, Juggler, and IN10SE.
Besides this stuff I am into ultimate, horse riding, fishing, martial arts, cooking, massage, personal development, and reading.
If I look at my life it has been about three things: mastering something, working on my inner self, and helping others. I think "The Community" will be a good place to hang out for the next couple of years.
