I took some early credit at the college in HS too but in HS I didn't talk to anyone, not students, teachers if I absolutely had to and parents rarely.
I did get some scholarships. But most universities are well over 100,000 for 4 years. Not only that scholarships don't give a crap about grades anymore(something I found out my senior year when filling out applications) they really only care about your extra curricluar activies. I quit sports and started playing video games all the time so I didn't do anything. Out of the 80 or so scholarships I academically over-qualified for, I got 2. One from the Gov't and one for my Art. Thats it.

Also, to the guy that said that age doesn't matter. Ew older women. I am not attracted to women that are not in a 2-3 age range nor are women attracted to younger guys.

wow, your in denial... if you want help... take the help, if you dont want help, then stop asking, and go back to your games.
It will have to come to a point where you have to decide whether or not your comfort zone is more important then you happiness. Deciding whether to be with a woman, or being with your computer. And deciding on either talking to yourself for the rest of your life, or talking with a lovely lady.

And dont use games as an excuse, I work at an effin video game store, and am still one of the coolest cats around.

I guess you missed the part about they give scholarships to those who volunteered/worked/played sports/ in clubs etc. Since I didn't do those things, I didn't get the scholarships. Its kinda 2+2=3 there.

But my question is why can't I get women, and stay within my comfort zone? Surely there is a way?

its a simple answer of business practice dude. You dont get anywhere in life playing it safe, you end up as the crazy lady with alot of cats.
The greater the risk something is, the greater return you'll get. Sure, you could probably find a woman within your comfort zone, but she wont be something you want, she wont be much of a catch, and you will probably sleep with her and be with her the rest of your life. Being risky is part of what this life style is. I dont know where I'll be in the next year or so, mostly because I dont plan things like that... let life happen dude, dont let it happen to someone else.

I think you might be imagining some of this rejection and definitely need to work on your inner game. I really can't imagine someone not wanting to talk to someone else because that person happens to study graphic design (unless, you were already so insecure about studying it that you mumbled it under your breath and quickly looked away)

I think you need to get over all of this and just get out there (co-workers, the few women your age at school, etc...remeber that ugly women often have hot friends) Maybe, for now, you should focus on making some friends and wait to be introduced to a girl at a party, event, whatever.

p.s. a friend is a graphic designer and (believe me!) is constantly knee deep in women. i don't think graphic design is a problem/uninteresting. For fu@k's sake, you won prizes for your art! get out there and "collaborate" with some art school girl.

weekend trips to the nearest city, expand your social network to friends of friends, whatever!

Too late. The Graphic Design program was too piss easy at that CC and there were no women I found attractive let alone ones my age. I will continue to draw but I switched to a Business Accounting degree ata university.

I wouldn't collaborate with other person man or woman, I've never given two shits about anyone else's work. It my art I have control of, its my art that could of gotten me work, not someone`elses...

What would I do in the next city. Its a 3 minute drive from my house(in my city) to the next city over and its just as a boring Iowa town as mine is.

Friends of friends? That would require friends first no?
