Apparently all the contestants were actors. Go to this link, and it will explain it all.

Haha... well, Style did write a bestselling book exposing a lot of shit. So I wouldn't say that Style just cares nothing about money, but that's beside the point.

Yeah... I mean they got into the game for overall self-improvement. IMHO, there are better ways to improve one's self than hijacking everyone that was involved in providing those means. And the fact that all of that is scripted and passed off as a "reality show" is nothing short of utter exploitation. But whatever I guess... Mystery has to get paid.

Who honestly cares? This shouldn't affect your own game.

That's....unfortunate. But at the same time I can't say I'm surprised, based upon how poorly these guys did at picking up and how quickly Mystery is able to turn guys around when they do a workshop weekend with him. Also, there was far too much crying going on for guys that I know. The thing is, half the "reality" tv shows are bullshit and we know that. I didn't learn anything from the show that I didn't already know from The Game and other sources, and they hardly exposed anything, but its entertainment and that's what tv is. I still haven't watched the last episode, but I'm gonna watch it tomorrow night with all my roomates when it is downloaded and then after I'll let them all know.

I thought the same thing man, the crying was deffinitely not necessary for when they did it.

Yea, but a book is a lot different than a TV reality show.

Yea, but a book is a lot different than a TV reality show. The TV show had commercials on for it 24/7, not only on VH1, but other channels as well. Plus way more people watch TV than read books. But I understand what you are saying about getting paid and money and everything, but still, he could have done something besides exposing the community on cable TV.

Making money is fine..... its making money at the expense of others that I have a problem with. This is why people criticize OPEC, Wal-Mart, and other corporate bulldozers, not for their money making skills, but for their destructive tactics. If he has no loyalty whatsoever, then so be it, but he shouldn't talk all this bullshit about the community being like a family to him. We're customers, and he should just say that instead of the insincere sentimentality.

hmm. Ive got mixed opinions on this subject. Truth is Mystery developed a method to pick up women. And as a magician as we all know, he applied theories of illusion to pick up.
Well why not the show? Its a big trick. True Mystery will get paid but then again, It was long overdue. The world (and us the PU community) is way underestimating the fact that mystery is an illusionist. Do people really think that he'd make a "reality show" and have actors play as ordinary guys and not expect the public to find out? C'mon now.

I'd like to believe that yes he IS making money. But then again it is his years of research that allowed a lot of people (me & you included) to do what we do. His method, let him sell it. Not everyones gonna be good at it.

As far as the actors go, I think he gave the community a smoke screen for us to hide behind. He's hiding us in plain sight. With the obvious controversy, People will look at it as "oh the show was a fake so theres no way pick up is real or legit." or
"The show was a fake, but sure was entertaining...I wonder what else is on?"
With people doubting the art (through the controversey and exposure) it won't be so mainstream, and people will hopefully forget that such a thing exist. So we can all sarge in peace.

Then theres the "The Game" movie.....
:?
my two cents is long sry bout that.

well back to Halo 3 :D

I also read somewhere on that website that they might be making a movie on "The Game." Wtf with everyone selling out? And yes it does affect my game, because it means more competion and chicks as well as guys will start picking up on what your intentions are, and will be much more of a challenge to pick up. Peacocking, DHV, and negs will all be transparent.
I'm not saying things will be impossible, I'm just saying it will be way more challenging.
all i had to do is typing in "seduction" under google, and click the first one, 5 seconds im part of the community. although im not tell any of friends about the stuff i learnt, but it is god damn easy to from some AFC to access this information
