I didn't realize there was an intro page. I kinda skipped that lol

Well, I'm Omar (couldn't think of a clever name, first name will do). I'm in the Army. I used to be a shy, insecure kid. Joined the wrestling team at 15 to toughen myself up and it helped me gain confidence. I was always the scrawny kid, but athletics helped me gain confidence.

When I turned 18, I wanted to join the Army. It was 2006 at the time so Iraq was gone to hell. It was a tough decision, a scary one. But I wanted to be in the fight, I'm a New Yorker and my dad almost died that day. Needless to say it was a great decision, I go to Afghanistan in about a year as a Scout.

Enough about my personal life, let me tell you about my love life! As I said, I was shy and scrawny, but athletics helped with confidence. Around the guys at least. They respected me for being strong for my size, and I had a lot of guy friends but my old self never left and I was always afraid of girls. I was asked to prom (that's right she asked me!), got laid and that sort of demystified women to me but not completely.

I was dumped during Basic, but going through training gave me even more confidence. If I can fight hand to hand, shoot expert, and go to a warzone, women are a piece of cake! I finally had my first LTGF at 19. I learned a lot and gained confidence in myself.

Despite my confindence and feelings of self worth, one can only do better! I finished reading The Game yesterday, but I've been posting here while reading it. I only went "sarging" once since discovering it and I can't believe the results! There's a bunch of hidden knowledge on these boards and I'm grateful you all are welcoming me.

What can I offer? I'm a newly reformed AFC, but as an AFC I did okay. 6 girls. Like Neil at the beginning of the Game, I've got some life experience for you youngsters. And for you AFC's I can relate, I still have my old insecurities lingering in the back of my head. So long story short, I'm happy to be here and to discuss things with you guys!

I'm currently at home awaiting my next assignment. Going to Kentuky for some time and then Alaska, followed by Spring Break '11 in Kabul lol. London is awesome by the way, I went there last year for a few days on vacation and loved it! Didn't go sarging or anything though, mostly sightseeing and tourist things.
