"I used to have a huge crush on you"

I made this technique out of fear of teetering into the LJBF zone with a girl I'm interested in. I honestly believe this technique actually got me out of falling into that never ending pit of despair called the friend zone. When you say something like that to a girl it not only makes her think of you in a relationship manner but it also tells her your not into her anymore. It will also help you see how she feels about you with her reaction. If she gives you a "OMG YOU DID?!" surprised response then thats a good sign. If you get a "really?" kinda creeped out response that most likely means she's not into you. What do you guys think of this technique though.

that's a REALLY good idea! I wouldn't go with "huge crush", though. It kind of shows a Wussy side (as in, you had a big crush on her and didn't say anything about it).

Maybe "I had a crush on you for like a day once!"

Nah. "I used to have a crush on you" without specifying the duration would be fine. Then she'd wonder about how long it was for and when exactly it was and try and remember if there were any signs of it in her memory. Providing she likes you now to an extent anyway.

I was chit chatting with this girl once. We would bump in to each other once or twice a week. I can't remember what she said, but it was kind of nerdy, so I busted out with "oh my god, you're such a nerd. I can't believe I used to have a crush on you!". Worked like magic.

I think it is good line, and i will definitly try it out after summer - why?
There is one girl i already fallen into FZ with.
I am going to spend my summer at my home country, but after that i will go back to Shanghai.
Of coures i want to be missed by her, so i won't contact her for the whole time. Then i will use that line - hope it will work.

Also i was thinking - if she will ask something like "what didn't you say/did anything?"
What would be a good reply?

id probably say because at the same you were involved with another girl already (DHV) but if she knows for a fact you werent then say something like "I think I'm too much fun for you"
