I have been texting this chick back for three days straight now literally throughout the day. This has sort of went on a roll coaster since then as I qualified her like crazy.

Anyways, over text she started to get into more intimate discussion like what is your favorite food, describe yourself and so forth. I decided instead of dragging things out any further over text that I should continue the convo in person and start to escalate things. So I invited her to lunch the other day and she replied that she was busy and I responded like it did not matter. Now the issue here is that I cant tell if she likes me or not?

Should I 1) Freeze her out and wait to see if she re initiates the texting to see if she is really interested 2) Re initiate the texting myself with a funny opener and continue to build attraction?

Any advice is appreciated!

maybe she was busy you made the right call by responding like it didn't matter

you want to build investment from what your saying she sound invested so maybe she actually was busy and if not then she is not invested enough you just need to build more investment in her

have you spoke with her over a phone call yet ? this will build comfort and more investment

you sound like your on the right track just build more investment and comfort and when you next invite her out invite her to something you already plan on doing anyway maybe a group activity were she can bring friends along

Thanks Mrmonk! I found out she is working two jobs But I am still unsure if she is interested. She seems like she is invested but I am unsure. I want to make sure I am not wasting my time.

I have never spoken to her over the phone but she has been to my house a couple of times as she is friends with my sis (i know awkward) and we barley talk when she is around as its kind of secret

Tbh its your choice personally i would reintiate the chat try to gauge her investment levels and try the phone call if she dosen't pick up then investment is not high enough build more

yo similar situation here.. but i do not have text. This girl told me to get text but currently i can not due to my financial situation, but she can text all the guys she wants, i actually get talk to her on the phone * she calls me.* try this, freeze out for a few days if you can, then just pick up the phone and call her. Say you been busy with work or whatever you do, and just randomly came across her number while looking at your phone and thought you would say whats up. Hopefully shes not one of those girls who rather text and not pick up a phone call.
