You're being way to needy, she texts you to say hi i saw you today wanting a normal conversation and you over complicate things by basically saying why don't you want to be by GF?

Just calm it down when she next texts you reply like you would to a friend and talk to her you're looking way to much into this, she said shes got shit going on SPAM try talking to her about it?

When she next speaks to you say fancy a coffee later (i guess you're to young to drink) then she cant say no

I presume your about 16/17 is that correct?

thats EXACTLY what im doing.


yea i guess i came off as needy yesterday but thats nothing new. she sees me as a joke and at least this way i was able to exit with a very very very small portion of my pride intact. basically all i wanted to convey was that i have no need for mindless chatting thru text messages and until shes ready to make the effort to at least hang out then im done. ive got more important shit to worry about, and all this is is a distraction that i dont need, all these bullshit texts. so fuck her.

Sorry about all your grief, and yeah, we've all been there....and yes, it's your own fault when it happens. ;)

Something else: I don't get the whole relationship-building-through-txtmsg thing. Not only does it seem extremely impersonal for building up a connection with someone, it would look like it's far too easy to take what someone types to you out-of-context. Pros, help me out here if I'm wrong.

i kind of agree.... i mean its nice to have one more channel of communication, but im not sure its worth the convenience. it seems to make things more difficult.

she dosent love you yet, she thinks youre trying too hard to seem awesome. in that conversation, every thing you said to her was basically about how amazing you are. and by her responses, i can sense some of hesitation on her part. i believe the girl is interested, but wishes you would tone it down a bit.. 8)
(the car wash part is great though, i love it.)

honestly man,
this reminds me of something i did way back when. Ok, what your doing is your putting her way too high on a pedestal. Take her off that come to your senses, you have oneitis go party with your buds this weekend and go fuck 5 other girls the psycological effects will help you amazingly. This isn't meant to be cold but I've been here and this was some of the best advice i ever recieved

This is what kills me the most about people on these forums. They come up here wanting advice and they do exactly the opposite of it. It's why I don't really respond or come up here anymore. They don't want help. They want to do what they want to do, otherwise they'd listen to the advice or learn from it.

This guy doesn't get it apparently. Just reading this stuff is like watching a slow train wreck. I think some of the guys up here have given him plenty of sound advice.


Also, those drunk text messages to that girl just brought out a /facepalm

My god dude, im new to this, but wow man, fail. The reason i found this is because i had oneitis, i was feeling the EXACT same thing. just tell yourself you are better than her, and find someone hotter. IGNORE HER, she is obviously bringing out the worst in you. your best bet is to find someone else, and if you still feel for her, talk to her in a few months and act completely different.
Im not experienced in this at all, but this is what i would do.
