Hey! I am quite new to this " sport "(learnt some theory , but i've just begun putting it into practice a couple of days ago).
Anyway, I was taking a walk with a girl I have known for some time,so I though I could practice some techniques on her(breaking rapport, negging etc, without telling her what I was doing).The conversation went pretty good, she was laughing, the SPAM wasn't tense at all, when she suddenly says :" let's go sunbathing on the roof of that block!" . A line that I wasn't expecting ,and I started asking myself what to do next.
I said to her: " Ok , let's go!!", and i grabbed her hand and started walking towards the indicated building. To my surprise , she did not make any resistance and just went along with it. We got to the block,entered the elevator, and she said she's afraid of elevators.I smiled to her ,and said" Don't worry , I'm here to protect you" . She then took my hand,placed on her chest ,and silently came very close to me(and again i fluttered again,not that obvious though).
Unfortunately we couldn't reach the top,as scheduled ,and we postponed it to tomorrow. Then I walked her home and said goodbye.
As inexperienced as I am i can only guess what went good and what went wrong, but could you give me your opinoin on this matter?

it sounds like you were doing all the right things. don't over analyze it. be confident, cocky/funny, throw in some push/pull and continue escalating!
