i guess what i meant by that is, don't be that "mr. nice guy" (AKA AFC) who will cater to her every demand.

just go for it. what do you have to lose? if u don't escalate, you'll not get any. if you do escalate and it doesn't work out, you still don't get any... but if game her right, you will get something back when you escalate.
