I still am not convinced that If I looked better I would be better with girls.
Even with good game, if somone who has the same amount as skill as me but better looks, he would get more girls then me. Isnt that true?

this is one reason why im an AFC. I think that an average looking guy can get girls with good game, but anyone below the average mark cant get girls, even with good game or enough skill.

your question says that you have not done any reading or research whatsoever. This question is answered over and over at the beginning of every PUA guide.

I can accept that looks matter less than the "game",but im with guy of the topic,dudes below average DO NOT get girls.

thats because guys with 'below average' looks are doing things to make themselves below average...like not taking good care of themselves.

Every guy can be average looking if they keep themselves clean.

Yes they matter but your personality will make you more or less attractive in the eyes of the woman. Any girl will tell you that.

Well I'm not too sure about other girls, but I think it's more important that you maintain a good level of hygiene. If a guy smells bad or sweats a lot that's a LOT worse than them looking below average. So make sure you smell nice and shower! No matter how hot the guy is or how good at gaming he is if he smelt horrible to me 24/7 I would not date him!

I'm not going to say looks aren't important but they are a bonus. Confidence is a must. And I guess if you're worrying about how fat/short/skinny you are (or whatever else guys obsess over) you will come off as less confident. I remember one time this guy gave me his photo online and he had titled it "ewwww ugly" and I hadn't even opened it yet, but what kind of impression am I going to get from a title like that? If it helps you to feel more confident then wear something smart and definitely maintain yourself well in terms of grooming and hygiene. If a guy was overweight, but he wore nice clothing, smelt good and was confident in himself/able to talk himself up, I would pick him over someone who was very attractive visually but had bad hygiene or low confidence in himself (god I hope people who know me don't visit this forum). Anyways, hope that helps a bit.

Here is another way to look at it:

A good looking guy can use his looks to be a "routine" of his. He may be able to pick up girls using less game because of his "good looks."

HOWEVER, if you have learned the basics to being a PUA, the idea is that you game can be better than any guys who has looks alone.

By keeping up your appearances and hygiene, in addition to running good game, the combo will be deadly.

Looks matter period.
You can get hot girls without looks but you're at a disadvantage.

As an AFC, I tried to rely mainly on my looks, but I was insecure about myself. I had to meet my own ridiculous physical standards (which I never did) and I'd go to bars feeling inadequate. Past girlfriends have told me they thought I was "really hot" when we met, but it doesn't matter if you don't believe it yourself.

I then gave myself an attitude check. Before I go anywhere, whether it be class, a night out, or even my front yard, I tell myself I look good and feel like a winner. I don't know how other people see me, but dammit I know how I feel about me! Being proud of yourself leads to self confidence, which ultimately leads to better game.

LOL from this statement you can get a sense of how bad his game is and what he relies on. All you need is good game and good hygiene.

Just go for the girls that are most appealing to you. I just go for what I'm attracted to and it's amazing the results you will get. Tell yourself that you are attractive, and believe this no matter what society tells you.

Another tip would be to find your stereotype and stick to that. I'm a surfer so I have long blonde hair. Stick to your stereotype and project that out by the clothes you wear and your hairstyle. There's a lot you can do to make yourself look more attractive. Dye your hair, get some piercings, get a tat, grow some facial hair but the main thing is to be who you want to be and be happy with who you are.

Also work on your inner game. This will help your confidence and you will never need to worry about your looks. You will come across as a happy, confident and fun person and people will be more attracted to you.

I don't believe looks matter. How many times do you see ugly guys with smoking hot girls? Everyday, everywhere. Hotties with tubby guys. Hotties with absolute dropkicks. Hotties with drugged out losers. I still can't get my head around attraction but pickup has been teaching me more and more.

My problem is that I am sitting here reading about pickup and thinking too much, while less attractive guys are chilling with their hot girlfriends. Do you think they read about pickup to get their hot girlfriends. Maybe, maybe not. They probably just walked up to them without thinking about what to do or what to say or how they looked, and just said hello.

It sucks but many of us lurk around PUA sites to discover who we are, just to talk to what we are attracted to. Fuck it. Just walk up to the next girl YOU find attractive and talk to her, and dont worry about how you look!

looks matter somewhat, but i like the idea of looks just being another routine.

more to the point, looks aren't something you can learn, so there's no use in dwelling on the question. Sure, some things are under your control (take care of yourself, etc.), but, at a certain point, you just have to learn to make do with what you have. (more than that, you need to learn to be confident with what you have).

and honestly, how often do you see beautiful women with pretty average (sometimes even ugly) guys?

Looks DO matter but they're not the end all.

apparently some people seem to take "looks matter" as "omg if you're not hot NO GIRL WILL SLEEP WITH YOU EVER!!!"

the game matters more than looks do, but realistically, for this forum, it doesn't matter, since you're gaming anyway, and your looks shouldn't stop you from gaming.
