I made my first approach ever yesterday. Well, the girls approached me, so that's a good sign.

Anyways, they came up to and started talking to me at a party. Past the introductions I was a bit lost so I asked my target to pick a number between 1-10 quickly, you know the drill. Trying to increase my value. Anyways, the number was wrong (usually its 7, she picked . Plus, her friends were there the entire time and I happened to ignore them, which I know is a mistake. Later, I got into the cube with her but her friends kept interupting, basically c-blocking. It was really hard to do with them there. We fluffed a little and went back inside. I blew it, I don't really care though because I expect to get better. I just want some opinions from people and for them to set me in the right direction.

I want to know how to establish value better, how to do it while her friends are there (I should have did value ilicitations for them instead), and how to transition smoothly between phases.

Note: I know it was a fail and some of you may rip on me for it, but I had fun with it, I didn't make excuses and just did it, and am looking forward to doing it more

It's not a failure, it's called progress here. Anyways, yea you should of at least talked to her friends and entertained them. You can try putting more attention with her friends instead of her, that way it will be much easier to isolate her, since she will crave your company.
