| Hello all, I'll cut straight to the point. I'm a nice guy.... too nice. I've read "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Glover about 5 years ago, and it fits me to a T. Unfortunately, his lessons didn't stick, and I'm rereading it in hopes of a rebirth. There's a lot going for me; I have 4 houses I bought on my own and are investments, good job as a Network administrator, decent face/body(175lbs, 5'9" and doing p90x - plan to have a 6 pack by july 11, my 33rd bday) I have a truck that's paid off, I'm a great father with 50/50 custody(ok could be a turnoff to some gals but obviously not too interested in those, too many fish in the sea for that, right)?
I've been single since November... didn't really put myself out there until maybe a month or 2 ago. My nice guy syndrome was the cause of my last breakup(with my ex wife - together 8 years, married 4.5 of that, divorced almost 5, then back together 1.5 years, then split again) - I made a shitload of money in the oilfield last year and let her spend it all like a dumbass - thought i was doing the best for our family/son... she didn't work, she was in school for teaching and i supported her 150%.
Been putting myself out there and have found (again) that chicks put up with much more than i've been giving myself credit for - and actually seem to be attracted to it! So that's why i'm here.... a bit overwhelmed by all the acronyms, had to google several and still don't know what HB8/6/whatever stands for, but i can ascertain from context that it's a grade of woman.... Gonna dig around the forums and this single, successful 33 year old dad is looking forward to being part of the community.
