so ive used the tactics to develop some hook ups and its made me lazy to pursue more girls, even though the ones ive got arent prime specimen (theyre ok one is an 8-8.5, the rest are 7s). I need to motivate myself to land some 9s and 10s, suggestions?

ya. raise your standards. you might see a good number of 7's and 8's in a club, but if you want something better, get yourself to wait. a 9 or a 10 will come along sooner or later.

Open the same sets as you usually do but take it as far, once you've successfully opened a set you can leave and come back to it. It's like a door that won't shut. Instead of completing the process build enough comfort with them and use them as your pivots. When I was in dallas a week ago I opened 2 sets that I wasn't very interested in but I was only there with another guy who isn't an aspiring PUA so I used the 2 sets as instant DHV for when I approached the girl (a hb9). Seeing that I did have options and girls were comfortable around me she dropped her shield and I got the #. Best of all if it does't work out you've still got the other 2 sets that you can run back to. At the end of the night one girl from one of the sets got jealous of the HB9 and just walked up and handed me her # before she left.
