This girl has given me MANY MANY IOI's and the other day it went like this.

I grab her wrist and pull it toward my face.

Me "Your green nail polish is distracting."

Her "Yeah, you like them!"

She wiggles her fingers in my face.

Me "They're pretty, but I heard that girls with green nails are high maintenance."

Her "No, I'm not high maintenance and I'm not a girly-girl either."

Later on she is telling me how she went out a date with some guy, but it didn't work out. He asked her out again, but she doesn't want to go.

Me "Oh my god! You and Jimmy?"

Her " No! No!"

Me " Thats so cute. I love that. What a great couple."

Her "Yeah right. Stop it. I don't like him."

I think she was qualifying herself in the first conversation and in the second one, she wouldn't deny liking another guy so enthusiastically unless she felt something for me, right?

Hey Jupiter Bomber,am I missing somthing here(lol)?

Hey Chel, whats up?You're probably thee most encouraging guy on the whole forum.

But I really dont see Jupiter Bomber's target as qualifying herself-at least not in the above example.

I do see her trying to subcommunicate to you that she's pre-selected and wanted by other men[by mentioning turning down 2nd. date with another guy].

She's trying to bait you into chasing her.

I really dont see her qualifying.

But I do love your negs Jupiter Bomber(lol).

You false disqulified yourself by telling her that her nails are distracting.

I dont know if you'd said that as a neg or false disq'?

Or perhaps you were giving her an indirect compliment meaning her nails are so pretty that they're distracting you.

I like the "distracting nails" line because it is amibiguous. Like you said, it can be interpreted as a neg, a disqualifier, or an IOI depending on the girl. It is also a great way to start kino. This girl definitely took it as an IOI.

Im sorry, forgive me but what's a neg, a disqualifier, or an IOI? Please/thanks!

A neg and a disqualifier are pretty much the same thing. To quote directly from Mystery's book, "Neg- A subtle-yet-negative statement that puts target off-guard and makes her question her on value, incrreasing yours on a relative basis."

Negs are often delivered in a playful manner.

IOI stands for Indicator of interest - " Signs, mostly non verbal, that a woman is attracted to you.

You are a genius Jupiter Bomber(lol).

You had me not knowing whether the green-nails line was a neg or compliment(lol).

It's vague in a good way and she took it as a compliment.

And to the guy who asked about meanings.

A false disqulifier(which to me is a neg)is you(the pick-up artist)saying something to the target(the girl)which would make it seems like you're not into her.

It sounds counter-intuitive but it works.

I think its a good one to use in A3, because you can expound on it and encourage her to qualify.

Also, when you said that green nails thing about her being high maintenance, was that a real thing u heard or can I probably just say that about a girl with any colored nails?

No, I just made that up. The whole point of this bit was to acomplish many things at once. Grab her wrist (kino). Comment on her nails (atteniont to detail). High maitenance (minor neg, but also encourage her to qualify) (which she did!!).

If she would have said, "Where did you read that?" I would have said "Cosmo" and she probably would have asked, "Why do you read girly magazines?" To which I could reply "My roommate, Bethany, had a subscription (pre selection). Or my ex girlfreind read it or whatever.
