So with the new popularity of the community, you don't want to sound like a PUA.... so simply walking up and saying, "I need your opinion" to a random girl whose opinion you have no reason to want might seem sketchy to the well-informed HBs. Lately, I've been preceding my opening by simply asking if they have a light. If it is at least a 3 set, then someone will. Then you can go into the opener and you have their newly acquired proximity as an excuse.

On top of this, I personally smoke Djarum Special clove cigarettes.... if you've seen them, they look somewhat odd to the average Camel smoker. In my experience (mostly college parties), they provoke strong curiosity in the HBs and they'll be the ones to start the conversation.

It's nothing major, but I've found it to be effective.

You don't get any negative feed-back? A lot of people think cloves stink?

There's a post somewhere in here about those types of cigarettes... It's unfortunately under peacocking, and very obscure to find. But believe it or not, "have you got a light" actually is quite the popular opener... alot of conversation in night clubs, have been started with that line. Oh, and day game's most popular line is "have you got the time"... so simple... yet, quite effective.

ok, let me put it this way. You smoke cloves like cigars..
YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO INHALE THE SMOKE INTO YOUR LUNGS

But as for everything else, cloves don't smell bad (they smell almost like cinnomom) and many girls love the taste of them. always carry a lighter thought for sure.

I don't smoke cigarettes but one thing I've done is the past is opened up to a set of HBs with I'm trying to quit and if anybody wants one.

Carrying a lighter should be an accessory to every PUA, even if you hate smoking. Get a cool lighter, Zippo has a wonderful selection, and keep it full for every time you go out. For those of you who use magic and tricks- I learned a few good and simple tricks with a lighter which can easily impress your average HB. Check out YouTube, they have some good tutorials.

Yeah, smoking is a bad habit, and I'm trying to quit. But the effects of social smoking (just a couple when you're out sarging) would have minimal health effects.

For those of you that don't smoke, don't start.... but for those of you that do, use it to your advantage and switch brands to a conversation piece.

On the topic of clove cigs, they are worse for you than normal ones. So if you do smoke them, as said previously don't inhale like you would with regular cigs.
Just a health warning. They are worse, but if you gotta have your fix, then you gotta have it.

I believe smoking is terrible, and can sometimes be a DLV. and i never plan on smoking and smoking is bad gaming.

but if you smoke, then work with it, smoking i guess, can be an advantage, especailly in opening sets, because opinion openers will soon become out of date.

Of course smoking is already out of date... make of that what you will.

I definitely like a nice cigar.... but in my experience, it's better to save this for when you're not sarging. I haven't personally sarged with them. But I do know that while some girls find the smell to be the sexiest thing on Earth, lots of women simply can't stand it. That and I've been with people when someone else walked in with one, and without a moment's hesitation, they nearly always start making fun of him for thinking he's Al Capone or some other stupid insult.

If you're in the 30+ age group, it would probably slide.... but for some reason the younger age groups don't really see the appeal in them. I actually like them, and I'm genuinely not smoking them to appear classy or sophisticated, but unfortunately that's the impression people get.

Smoking has caused me to DLV in the past, but it's nothing which has proved to be a huge problem, unless the target detests everything about it.

What you forget is that it works both ways; some guys could never get with a bird who smokes. Smoking has DHV for me, cause girls who know you smoke know you won't care if they do. Also (Thanks to the UK smoking ban) smoking is one of my favourite forms of isolation - 'I'm gagging for a smoke, fancy going for one?'. They won't say no, even if they aren't that into you yet. Chances are they might just want a cigarette.
