I was thinking about how people say the most fucked up shit to other people and get away with it and so I began thinking, why is this true? Why do people who say completely fucked up things get away with it?

Back in the day, if someone insulted someone else, that shit ended up in a fight and someone was either seriously injured or dead at the end of it. Whether it was with rocks, swords, or gun duels, it was no fucking joke to just run your mouth all day. If some girl called a guy an ugly fag her own father would probably bitch slap her in the face for being so rude. Physical superiority reigned supreme.

Of course now we have the modern age where doing so much as punching someone is enough for the society to turn on you and lock you up. Now people can talk as much shit as they want. Sure there are still some who may fight and even some who kill but the vast majority do not do so without some consequence.

So now you are forced to fight shit talking with other words rather than putting them in their place lest you risk being taken in by law enforcement and having a social stigma attached to you.

So then if physical superiority is not top dog anymore what is? Clearly it must be the mind. In fact, is this not what PUA is all about? Having the strongest "frame"? Shedding your need of others approval?

You can no longer prove you are the alpha male by fighting it out physically, at least not in the majority of circumstances. In everyday life, the only way to prove you are the alpha male is show that you have the strongest and quickest mind.

I'm sure there are many other quotes but these 2 illustrate exactly what I have said. Strength of the mind is more important than anything else these days. Someone can always pull a gun on you and kill you but for the most part, if your mind is strong and fortified, you are damn near untouchable and others will be in awe and some jealous of your strength.
