Do you really have to bang 10 hot babes? What if instead I took them home, and right before sticking it in said "gotcha, I'm actually not going to have sex with you!" and consider it a victory?

The reason I ask is that I have a girlfriend but I really admire this pick-up art as a way of improving my low self-esteem and finding out how to be a real man and such. I am also a virgin, which to me means that MAYBE what I think is "love" for my girlfriend is not love after all; maybe it is oneitis! Maybe ALL LOVE is oneitis! I feel that to confirm or disprove this suspicion I have to complete the newbie mission of seducing 10 girls. If I know I can do that, then I probably know if I really love my girlfriend or if I'm just being needy.

Does this seem reasonable or am I sort of insane?

Oh, and before you suggest that I have sex with my girlfriend... we are trying! I mean allegedly she is taking steps to allow for further trying, but I think she might be postponing.

Anyway the point is, if you're happy with this girl, don't worry about the one-itis label. Just run with your instincts until you break up. If it wasn't love, well, at least you gave it your best and you can get into pick-up later. If all you want to do is raise your self esteem I'd say join a team sport or meditate or some shit.

i have a girlfriend who i got with because of game (i lost my virginity to her and i am seriously getting really into her and feel like it may lead to love but im not there yet) i had only been studying game for a few months before we got together and dont want to give it up. so i have been studying the theoretical side (reading books and watchin dvd's) maybe that is what you should do untill your sure what is hapening with your girlfriend.
and if you want to have sex and think she maybe postponing it then what you should do is find ways to put off sex yourself (make it seem like you dont really wanna have sex ) and she will be more keen than ever!

sleep with her if shes willing, if afterwards (after a few days contemplation) you feel that its right and its good and you like her and all the other feelings turn it in to a long term relationship however if you feel well it wasnt right you dont feel for her and so on end it move on! dont decide straight away because your hormones will be rushing in your head and you'll probably have the loved up emotions in your head let that feeling settle down before deciding!

I wasn't doubting that my emotion is love. I was voicing my newfound suspicions: What if ALL LOVE is one-itis? Some people claim that our ability to love and stick with one girl is inversely correlated with our ability to pick up chicks. This totally makes sense, and it is unnerving!

About the sex: Yeah we are trying. But this discussion is not about that.
