I've been encouraged by the managers to attempt bar flairing whenever i get chance, so that normally gets me a lot more attention that the other male barmen that work with me.
At first glance i assumed this would be easy, but i find that because we're normally kinda busy i don't have time to stop and sarge the girls at the bar that are practically gagging to be opened.
Anyone have any info/advice how to use this job to my advantage?

I find a nice smile and wink while taking their drink order is effective, I small talk while making their drinks, maybe chuck a neg in there or two and when I take their money I make a deal with them that next time they come to the bar for drinks during the night I'll have a shot with them.
Your DHV is already high because you're a bartender, but the job is alot about attitude. If you're always smiling always happy, and little bit flirtatious everybody will want you. Number closing is alot harder, but if you can get them to stay until you finish or the bar closes then you're usually in with a F-close.

on the other hand, on my nights off people do recognise me n i've been opened a few times with "hey aren't you the barman in liquid?" or "aren't you the dude that's always throwin the bottles n shakers around in liquid?" so it's conveyin a shitload of higher value already - i barely have to try qualifying myself any more
