First off you say you hooked up with a girl what do you meen by this. Did you kiss her? how many times have you seen her do you talk to her frequently? of course you are getting mixed signals she doesn't know whether to be your friend or to be you lover. I would invite as many girls as you know to your party including her also it might be also good too ummm have no expectations as to f close her on your b-day if you start caring about what she want in a guy you have already lost her and by trying harder you will blow it.. In my experience when you pull back and show dis-interest when you have attraction it will make them chase.
Why not try being dominate and say. I know your used to boys who act like girls by playing hard to get however I' am a man and I know what I want for my birth-day gift...
