I was browsing the pickupodcast website today(AJ Harbinger & them)and I checced out the latest episode which was 'banter'.

Basically,they were trying to say that bantering and being playful should be the way to go-I agree.

I literally get all playful with everyone I come across;be it at a restaurant,bank,store,etc.

Last night at a grocery store,I was at the counter,and standing infront of me cashing her goods was an HB9.

Me being the ultra-social guy,I said to the cashier,"Ahh,she's paying for my stuff-all inclusive."

The cashier was fuccing stunned as if to say,you're damn ballsy for saying that such a hot chic would py for my goods!

So I held up my basket of items to enforce the point(playfully yet dominantly)and say again,"she's paying for my stuff".

Now,ppl(AFC's & beta males)would assume that the HB would get all pissed or curse or say "hell no"!

But my frame was so strong,playful & banterish(sly smile on my face,looking at the HB)that the HB just giggled playfully.

She never told the cashier no,she isnt paying.She was so shell-shocked that a guy can be so ballsy/playful(lol)!

I honestly think that I could've made her pay for my items as if she was in a fuccing trance!

All I had to do was insist but I instead broke the tension by saying to her & cashier that it's a joke(lol)!

Few pointers:

We men need to stop acting like bitches,thinking that women are gonna slap us for being forward and playful.

Ppl are socially frigging "petrified"!

I literally believe one can grope a girl in a public setting and she wouldnt say or do shit!!

Im not advocating groping but the point is,women & ppl in general are zombies & sleep-walkers.

PPL can get away with so much shit to others that its crazy!!

Plyfulness & banter short circuit ppl.

Whenever Im in a grocery store in long line,Im gaming the place with no intentions of pick-up!

Im "The" only guy in the joint talking,looking alive-waking ppl up!!
I get that concept from David Wygant-wake ppl the hell up by being playful!!

So guys,be lively where ever you go.Work the room with "Banter & Plyfulness".

I agree, just grow a pair and do it. Once you do it once (anything ballsy around or w/chix), the second time will be easier, once you do it a handful of times, you're comfortable.

You still didn't get a number? Check out lines are rough because, most people just want to pay and GTFO. So if shes ahead of you, you can try engaging her while you're paying, then walk out of the store together. Great way to number close.

I wouldn't recommend groping people though... unless you want creeper status or a lawsuit.

All I really use is; Banter/escalation/qualification, done!


Banter quickly turns into flirting, then you're already 75% of the way there.

Banter=push/pull, Breaking Rapport(also builds comfort), it's playful, it's enjoyable.



I've been in set with a few guys, who get a shit test and start crying (almost literally on some occasions), personally, I love shit tests and bitch shields, it's like a big fat sign screaaaming "BANTER WITH ME"

But Finesse,I didnt #close the HB 'cause I wasnt in the pick-up frame that time. It was strictly no-strings-attached fucking around.

It'd baccfired on me few time when I tried to #close in that situation.

The target kind of sensed the #-close attempt coming[eventhough I'd learned solid #-close routines]...

Im an advocate of just going out some nights without any intentions of the pic-up.Sole purpose is to socially vibe,throw negs,banter & be the 10 year old at heart.

Whenever I did,I was amazed at how many girls actually just spoke to me.

Haha yeah, bro. Playful banter is certainly the way to go when it comes to game.

As for the number close issue... It could be one of 2 issues I can straight think of, but only 2 right now, 'cause I gotta rush out...

One could be that because you have the number close in mind, you end up sub-communicating that. Sub-communicating that you want to hook up or get her number is not an issue, it's when it appears that you're using the banter to hide your intent, it comes across as 'ugh, guy trying to pick me up'. If you can banter with her normally and then end up gradually warming to her, in a natural appearing way, that will work better. Or if you banter and subcommunicate that you want her number, but making sure you're not trying to mask your intent.

If you get what I mean?


I've now forgotten my second point, but I think I may have covered it somewhere in my first one, however, when you're going out with no intent behind your banter, girls can sense this, and of course will be attracted towards you because they feel 'safe' that you have no ulterior motives. Thats why, if it IS in your mind to get a number, don't think about getting the number at all, just stick to the banter and having fun, and you can use the shittest number close ever at the end, just as an after thought, and it should work fine.



It's true though, I go out now, and run sets just to get comfortable bantering, cos thats who I am, and for some reason never used to use it in sets.


Go out with the intent of having fun and bringing a little joy and playfulness to everyones lives, and you may be surprised with some of the relationships your create!

I definitely get what you mean about the #close.

That's what I'd noticed on the occasions where I try # close after bantering;it seems to be premeditated & subcommunicated.

The target may become to resent that you used banter in order to #close her(ulterior motives).

We'll,I guess it's a balancing act.
