Many times I'll meet a girl (for social proof / no intention of gaming her) and then only see her again a couple of weeks later. I'll look at her and go over to say hello, but she'll have this look on her face like "who is this guy?", as if she doesn't remember me.

How should I handle this situation? Is there something I could say?

(Perhaps it could be that I need to build up more of a connection on the first meeting?)

Not sure the specifics of your situation but it sounds like you are not giving her anything to remember you by. Either that or she is reserved.

Yes, you answered your own question. If she has forgotten you she has forgotten you. The best thing is that you can now game her again with the same lines!

I've noticed that when I then re-introduce myself, they'll go "Oh yeah I remember you!". This kinda throws me off because it doesn't exactly feel good when a girl doesn't remember me.

I'm not sure if I should then make as if I don't/only vaguely remember her, or let her know that I do in fact remember her? (The latter is true considering that I have a good memory for faces and names)

It is because she gets approached more often than you. You still count every single encounter. When you start approaching more you will see that your mind will be slipping too. I barely remember 10% of the sets I go into, and that is on a good day... I mainly use my wing to tell me if I have approached the set earlier the same night or not.

So you need to make a better impression or rather you need to carve out your niche and stand out. I dont mean peacocking but you have to be different from everybody else. You gotta use that awesome personality of yours to make sure she remembers you.

I'd tell her I was insulted that she didn't remember me and demand that she buy me a drink. Not in a serious way, obviously. Pretty easy to go from there.

Thats a terrible idea. Sorry, not being a dick here... That shows that you care too much and that you beg for a drink. Even if you say it in the right way.
