Would black slacks, white collared shirt and tie work? I feel too stuffy in a suit and it affects my game. White shirts and tie is somewhat casual and fun. Is what you where important at this type of event when it comes to picking up girls?

Most people were darker colors in their suits. I would go with some dark red shirt, maybe a similar tie, and some darker pants (either black or dark grey.) I dressed in a similar mannor at my uncles wedding recently and had 2 # closes, and bounced with a brides maid to another bar after. Your choice how to dress but i would say bright colors and a nice shirt and pants. Tie optional. Maybe a pimp hat to set you appart though. Not something over teh top, but that goes with what your wearing..

So like some nice jeans that aren't too tight (looks a bit off at a wedding with everyone in slacks), or interesting coloured slacks or khakis or cords. For a shirt, wear some interesting coloured button-up long sleeved (or short if going for a more casual look, maybe with a fedora) and if you can tie it into the outfit, then a tie, preferably contrasting coloured.
