Hey I have had a few ideas for openers I was just w groupondering could I get some feed back. i have not had a chance to use them yet and I was hoping some people could let me know what they think of them.

The first I think works if you are dealing a professional set. At least I hope it does.

Me: Excuse me could I ask your opinion.
Them: Sure
Me: Which do you think is worse a lame hand shake or not making eye contact while shaking hands.
Go from there hopefully.

The next I am not sure of because it could make money an issue which could make people uncomfortable.

Me: Excuse me could I ask your opinion.
Them: sure
Me: your at a restaurant (either for business, pleasure or date) should ordering tap as opposed to bottled water be an issue.
(obviously this can be modified to be is ordering bottled water at a restaurant just showing off.)

They are two for now.

Also one more question.

Are there any topic's that should be avoided apart from the obvious when opening a set.

Be honest those are kind of weak... but hey if u say it right it might work... I would come with a better opinion... I have had good luck with ask about clothes advice like what do you ladies think about my dress shirt (then ill do a model turn and usually a little dance) 100 percent of the time they usually laugh, which eases the convosation and then I usually go in for the introduction and so on...
