i was on the way out in the middle of class and saw this girl. couldn't stop and talk since it was during class so i texted my friend who was sitting in front of her to give her my number (they don't know each other). instead the girl added me on facebook. i started conversation and my friend told me to ask her for her number on it. the girl never responded... is there a way back in it or did i screw myself over?

I started off saying "hey, whats up" a few days after she added me
She responded asking playfully if i pull that move often
Me: nah, but i couldn't pass up the opportunity to talk to you
her: aww well that definately made the class more interesting
we have an exam soon so i replied: glad i could make it more interesting for you. hows studying for chem
her: couldnt tell you havent started
i went on to inviting her to a party. she said she couldnt make it and said "raincheck?"
i took that as a positive sign and wen to ask for her number but she ended up not responding.

so is all hope lost?

Hmmmm... Only thing i can think of is catching up with her after class and talking to her that way... you know the whole face to face talk.
oh and Did you give her a reason for giving you her number?

yeah, i since she said she couldnt make it, raincheck. i said we should exchange numbers and hang out after break(this conversation happened over our spring break).
any tips on what to say if i ever do see her after class?

can't rly tell you exactly what to say.
I would just talk to her normally like "hey how r u?" then ask if she wants to go hangout later.
I Don't believe it would be a good idea to bring up the whole facebook thing with her though.

I'd give it a shot anyway. What do you have to lose? You're going from having nothing now to possibly having something.

well how should i approach this? this is the first time im going for a random girl instead of a mutual relationship type of deal so i really do not know how to approach this.
