Evening, well it is here anyway,

I’ve come to join this forum to try and learn about ‘pick-up,’ I’m 20 years old and I’ve been single for 2/3 years now, all my mates have moved away to University, whilst I’ve stayed in my home town to work.
To be honest, I’m slightly fed up with being single, I think part of it is down that I’m seen as a “nice guy,” which is fine with certain people, because at times there’s no problem with being ‘nice’ (I hate that word) but with the opposite sex, it just means you hear lots of people saying “you’ll make someone very happy one day, BUT….” And you get the usual story.
I don’t have that much self belief, no matter how much I have people tell me I’m handsome or fun to be with, I self doubt a lot, so I’ve got my own personal demons to battle first.
So my ultimate aim is to become more confident, meet more people and ultimately, have greater success with women, because being a loner sucks arse!

Replace the word nice with 'decent' for a start. I think all the way through this journay I have remained decent.

Well we've all been in the single path. I've had one night stands but frankly these days I'm more interested in companionship, its just a matter of learning not to put a girl on a pedestal, something I do less and less off. If anything I suppose its getting to a stage where actually the more I like them, the less I put them on a pedestal, I just try and get the balance right.
