Additional feed-back requested:

One of the questions I had Maverick was what do you do if the target seems really into but you have a very very hostel obstacle present.

So here is the example from last night working the target through the cube gambit and mixing in a bit of SS vocabulary, the target start really getting into it the the female friend (fat and ugly) comes in and says:

obstacle: "why do you have on head phones"
(one of my PUA pieces equipment to listen to gambits if I get stuck)
PUA: "I say because the music in here sucks."
obstacle: well they make you look like a f*cking idiot!
PUA: Well I can also put them on and go to my happy place any time some-one starts to bother me (in hind sight I should have left this out) kind of like when you start talking..."
obstacle: F*CK YOU! grabs her friends arm and yanks her out, gives me the finger and leaves.
PUA: Pleasure meeting you.

I try stay in character as much as the next but I'm not sure how you keep the set going smoothly if you get such tough and hostel participation from an outside obstacle?

In my experiences, if I detect the "grenade" is going to explode, I will exchange contact info ASAP before my girl gets dragged off by the fatty.

#1 tip: don't wear headphones in a club.. its not peacocking.. its just stupid.. you want to listen to gambler or whatever, keep your ipod in your pocket, and then go to the bathroom and listen to it... or even take a walk outside for 5-10 minutes..

#2 tip: I think your intention were to joke around wtih the fat friend in a cocky neg-like way.. fat-ugly girls are used to being disrespected by guys and thats why she has a major defensive attitude.. Just kill her with kindness.. but don't be too nice because what might end up happening is that she reserves you for herself. her friend would agree to it out of pity cuz your just some attractive guy at a club to her at that point that she can find more of..

ex:
her: why are you wearing headphones..
you: what you don't wear headphones at a club.. your soo 2009 get with it..

if she disses you and calls you a loser or something for no reason, you need to recognize that its a defense mechanism so respond to it with a smile..

as for the target, just being accepted by her cynical, emotionally troubled friend will double the attraction and so you can take it from there..
