Let me begin by pointing out that I'm very new to this. I bought a copy of Neil Strauss' "The Game" yesterday and having started reading purely for entertainment I must say this world is beginning to fascinate me. I'm as new as they get and this is most definitely my first post.

So a Good Wing, I have a few friends who are great are picking up girls but they make horrible wings.. mostly because they are too self obsessed to fit into a game that doesn't centre completely around them. I'm living in Sydney Australia and I don't particular think that rocking up to random strangers and throwing out a "Hi would you like to come out with me and be my wing" is going to be the best way to go about it. What I'm looking for here is either advice on finding a good wing or even better a more experienced sarger than my 21 year old self to show me the ropes.

Sure videos and forum posts help... but I learn better from in the field sort of stuff. Any advice would be much appreciated

It's one of those things man. It's an underground community, finding a random wing is not likely, unless you use some sort of forum like this to meet up.

As far as learning and stuff.. It takes a LOT of work to become proficient and see serious results. a lot more than watching videos.

I would just suggest, (if this is something you are interested in) to make a commitment to yourself to be all in or all out.

There is a LOT of material that NEEDS to be read, and a LOT of inner game/soul searching that needs to be sorted out.

And more importantly, it takes a lot of PERSONAL field time, just going out and sarging every night of the week to figure out for yourself what works and what doesn't work.

A friend of mine and I, made this commitment about 2 years ago, and for the first 4 or 5 months literally, we read 1-2 hours of reading material per night, and studied it. 7 days a week. we ploughed through probably 20-30 full length books, on psychology, gaming, seduction, Handwriting analysis, magic tricks, conversation, leadership, persuasion... Everything.

good building blocks to know... Start on that while you go into the field to test by yourself or just with friends that aren't wings...

If it's really that important to watch people in the field, go to a boot camp/workshop thing.

I think the 3 must reads for ME, and people feel free to correct me...

But the best intro which you already have, is "The Game"..


Beyond that Robert Greene wrote a book called "The Art of Seduction" a must read for sure. This book really goes into a lot of the psychology behind seduction, and persuasion.

And I would definitely get ahold of "The Mystery Method" and study that to a T for structure of the game.

There are a number of other sources of information that you can check out.

Any of the "Master" Pua's on this forum have a plethora of information

David De'Angelo has a program called "Double Your Dating" That I think is really helpful.

As well as any psychology book you can get your hand on.

Practice the Art of conversation, and search the internet for openers/negs/routines/gambits that seem interesting to you.

And just GO CRAZY man. It's a lot of fun.
