There's a girl in one of my classes, we really don't talk much just lil comments here and there. But after class on Friday I stopped her and asked her to lunch on Saturday. She didn't look like she felt awkward. I can't remember exactly what she said, but it was something to the extent of: I can't because I'm going home this weekend, but we can go next weekend. It seemed genuine. Me being a dumbass, said "Are you sure?". Haaa yea that was retarded but I was nervous and just said the first thing that came to my mind unfortunately that's what came out. But she responded with an confident "Yea". And then she started talking about class for a minute and then we walked away.

I'm getting really neurotic now b.c. I know she went home last weekend too, which is about 4 hours away from school. I'm not expecting you to know whether she actually went home, but do you think I should talk to her on Monday and try to set something up, or should I wait. She's kinda shy so even if she does wanna go out to lunch, I don't think she'll come up to me and talk about it. The way she acted seemed like she was truly interested, but ppl lie.

Speak to her NORMALLY on Monday...

Don't try and set anything up or mention the date. Just get to know her, goof around have a little fun.

When next weekend comes, call her up.

She probably was busy and went home. Don't even worry yourself with that.

I think I can do that. It just sucks that I got the hard part out of the way, and now I feel like I have to do it again. Thanks for your input. Its been driving me nuts this whole weekend b.c. I was on cloud 9 and then a couple hours I started driving myself crazy.

I think I'll get her number (stupidly forgot to do that) and then try meeting with her on Friday with some friends, and then I can get a hold of her on Sunday b.c. she said she is going to have friends visiting next weekend so she'll probly be with them on Saturday.
