I'm 26 now, and I thought I'd give this game a try. I recently moved to a new city that has more of a party SPAM. I'm living alone now and I left a lot of my life behind me. Anyhow.....for the first time I find myself living alone with time on my hands and no reason not to rip through this place.

I started reading these Forums yesterday. I recon I'll read one tip before each mission and put it into practise. Yesterdays tip was "Be Positive" I had been rather down about moving, but I now see what a mistake that was (to let on anyway). Emphasizing the best points of my new location and brimming with optimism.....it made a big diffrence straight away.

I plan to read a bit before fieldwork each Friday and Saturday and learn the lessons one at a time. I think Par should be a girl every weekend....so 1/2 of the missions. I'm no-where near a success rate like that (at least not while maintaing a decent standard) but I believe it can be done. I'm very competitive.

There is a Japanese proverb in my sig.....basically it means that learning a challenging new skill involves sucking at it for a while but you have to keep at it and not get discouraged.

I should have included a match report from last weekend....my first.

I opened quite a number of girls but I have no real mid-game. After opening I generally talk for 5 mins or so....probe some interests and make a few jokes. At this point I'll usually raise my drink and say "Have a good night". I had 8 people (6 Girls and 2 guys) want to add me as friends on Facebook. I feel that facebook is a bad thing.....a receipe for complications. I'm not signing on yet certainly.

Remarkably I did actually pick up a girl on the tail end of the night as I was walking home. We were walking back in the same direction and she had lost her friends. It was almost accidental. Still.....they all count......1 for 1 I'm actually on par!

Can't believe it'll last.
