Ever get tired of meeting a score of girls, telling your routines and life story, getting make outs or more, and still be dissatisfied with the work involved? I'm having feelings like this now. I have other hobbies I'm interested in but the time/energy = results equation has been to high for me lately with too little results.

Schedule, schedule, schedule!

If you do nothing but pickup, how can you expect to be the interesting, well-rounded individual that PUA's are supposed to be?

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday go out. Every other day do something to make yourself a better person. The options are endless. The few people I have been able to teach the basics I tell the following:

1.) Work out! You won't believe how much this can make gaming easier. Plus, if you expect to date a girl who stays in shape, you might as well reciprocate the time and effort.
2.) Learn to play an instrument. Uh, hello? Have you SEEN the guy who can play guitar and sing on camping trips or at parties? Chicks love it. Super DHV.
3.) Play sports with some of your friends, even if you're not into them. Frisbee golf, basketball, etc. are all good exercise and something to talk about.

Stuff like that man. Stay strong!

After previous attempts at that I've decided I appreciate music more than making music. 8)

I know what you mean man... I also feel like that sometimes. You sit in your comfy armchair and watch yet another episode of whatever and think, yeah I should go out to sarge but heeey whatever, its cold outside. Too much work for something that is easy to come by, you dont miss it enough to do anything about it and if you want to you can just go out tomorrow instead...

Its like finding your best hat and PU gear and go out the door, take the bus to the club and start talking to people you are not gonna care about anyway is too much work...

But then again your friend calls you and wanna meet for a beer after work. You say fine, whatever, just a beer couldnt hurt you shouldnt stay too long.

30 minutes later Im in a set push-pulling girls left and right, AMOGing the guy while Im flirting with the cute waitress and keep an eye open for a better set. I just cannot help it, I love it! Without realizing it, the calm beer night has become a major sarging episode, I may not even realize Im sarging until I decide if I wanna go for the numberclose or not.

Isnt this what you feel too? Its too much effort if you have to make it an active thing but if you get a set served on a silver platter you have the time of your life!

Think about that. You dont have to retire completely, you just reduce the planned sarges you have in your life!

Don't think of pickup as a hobby like needlepoint or playing the guitar. Think of it like riding a bike or driving a car - it's a necessary skill that when required you should be able to use intuitively without conscious effort. At first it takes practice to learn, but once you're good you should just be able to move through life as normal. And if you have to jump on a bike to ride somewhere (or someone) then that skill is always there and accessible at a moment's notice.
