She then said 'Who got it for you, your girlfriend?'- to which i replied, being a bit taken aback and unsure what her angle was, 'Maybe an x-girlfriend?'

Was she chatting me up or negging or both?I know i should have led into something else, but that was pretty much end of conversation, my fault i'm sure.

She sounds like a female version of me... lol She definitely sounds like a player. Her style is very alpha male. Unusual but interesting.

I agree. Definitely an IOI. Some time's I will get girls who will grab my necklace and ask me questions about it...same thing..IOI. Mystery used to say that if a girl grabbed or touched his accessories, such as his labret, that he knew they were attracted to him.

Most chicks are pro push-pull artists. she pwned you and gave u mixed messages..her way of shittesting. I think if a girl ever approaches you and comments on something, that would be an IOI..judging you from afar and seeing if you are more than a regular guy.

The way I see it she is an ALPHA female (they do exist). If you want any luck in gaming her you are going to need to simultaneously raise your value (DHV), lower her value (neg), pass the shit test and force her to qualify. In a perfect world where I had more than 30 seconds to consider my response, my response would be this:

"I hope all guys don't start wearing bracelets (funny tone), because what they don't know is that they are great chick bait, (point to her) nice to see it still works though ... Of course I have a girlfriend AND your not my type so you have wasted your time, but thanks for trying".

This will only work on am extremely assertive female but if it hits just right it will drive her CRAZY!!! I would honestly not recommend this on a female who is anythign other than OVERconfident.

I read the original post, and from what I saw I did not see him mention the girl actually touched/grabbed his braclet. Assuming she was playing/touching it, I would have said something like this:
(The following is just a random set up. Anything creative could possibly work here/get IOIs)

PUA: "Do you always go around touching random people's stuff?"
HB: No (assumed)
PUA: "Are you sure?" (give no time to respond, same as she did to you) "I thought as we grow older our manners were supposed to MATURE."


An AFC would probably just be thrilled that he was getting so much attention and that she was actually touching his arm. Your goal is to stand out and make things interesting.
