Not sure if this is being posted in the right area but here goes anyway So I made my first kiss close last night (shit was so cash) and it was all going smoothly but then she noticed I carry around a notebook with me which contains my affirmations, openers etc. Fortunately I didnt let her look at it, telling her that she can see it once we get to know each other better. Anyway I was just wondering whether she might think its a little strange carrying a notepad and if anyone else has had this experience what did they use as an explanation?

Why are you carrying around the notebook? Rehearse openers and affirmations in your own time. Don't walk around with it, as it does look a little strange. I would also strongly recommend against her ever seeing this notebook ever again. You're better off trying to remember everything in it and then burning it.

I disagree with you. Have you ever actually read the game? It says that a pick up artists most valuable tool is a notebook and this is confirmed by gamblers encouragement of using affirmations to get into state whilst sarging.

It's fine if you have a notebook at your place and you review it before you go out. However, I would not be carrying it with you and looking up lines right before you talk to the girl. It may work for them, but I find it tacky.

Imagine how embarrassed you would be if she saw the contents of the notebook. You said yourself you wouldn't let her see it.

Try saving some of the notes/affirmations into your phone instead.

Yeah, carrying around an obvious notebook might lead to some problems eventually.

The answer, is to study study study, and just go with the hippocampus. Sure write down ALL of your openers and games, and gambits, but you don't need to, and shouldn't take them into the field.

Ways to get around this however, is to use your cell phone, you can always say you are texting someone.. when in reality you are just looking at the notes section, or something you've texted yourself...

For those of you with an Iphone, the notes standard app is a godsend. I have a 70 page word archive of negs and gambits and what not, all in one "note" labeled "Birthdays"..

My friend Pedro who i've talked about as the Best PUA I've ever met, uses an app called Awesome Notes" where he even goes as far as to organize the material, but also his daily sarges names, info, interests, and what they talked about.

Thanks for the help, good talking to some people with a little experience. Tbh with you im not a big fan of canned openers hence the fact why I ont keep any but the affirmations are a big help when my self-esteem goes down but im starting to improve my inner game and now that ive got a kiss close I dont think ill need them. Ahh wish I had an iphone man, they seem pretty fucking handy!
