I've got a couple of day 2s coming up with new girls. I'm looking for more than a one night stand but I don't want anything exclusive either. I need guidelines for how to communicate this and how much is too much going out/calling/texting a particular girl so that I don't lead her on. Could anyone give me the basics of managing expectations or link me to another thread that does? I want to have fun and spend time with these girls but I don't want to lead them on and break their hearts.

To manage the expectations that you are talking about, you need to have conversations with them. You need to tell them that you aren't looking for anything serious, they may not like it, they may not partake in it, but they will respect you for it. If they ask you why you don't want anything serious, I would stay away from the "I want to have fun" and phrase it more along the lines of "I'm just not in that phase of my life". Also, you must be ready to lose the girl, as not everyone is looking for the same thing at the same time. In terms of calling/texting, keep it to a minimum. I send out a text in the middle of the week to set something up for the weekend, followed by a few back and forth to iron out the details. That is what has worked for me, but I will admit to being new at it myself. What helped me the most was doing a search for "Harem Management" on the site.
