Was I too harsh on calling this chick out on her behavior?

I was walking in to a convenence store, going in through the right door (as is the convention here in the US, I know it may be different in other places) and as I'm walking in to the store, this girl leaving the store pushed past me on my right, between me and the door (I was already half way through). In a joking/sarcastic voice I said "pardon me". The girl turned around with a wtf look on her face, so I said "those are some awesome manners you've got there". She just stood there looking at me, so I rolled off and did my shopping. Was this too harsh/sarcastic?

Don't sweat it. She seems to be a bit snobby, not the type of girl worth putting a lot of energy towards.

That's a perfect way of screening. as you either get.

A "i'm so sorry i was (excuse)" in which case she is qualifying and you can follow up. OR
B "fuck you (or any non apologetic manner)" in which case she's not a nice person and you don't want to be around her anyway.
