Hi everyone, another newb here My name is Michael, a 19 year old law student from The Netherlands who is trying to become a pua. The reason I've decided to finally register here is because I've been coming here for a while now, just reading some topics here and there. And I'm very impressed by the community, it seems to (generally) consist of nice people who actually invest their own time and efforts to help others. And I'll do my best to do the same, although I'm just starting out.
The reason I've decided to get into the art of pickup is that I want to understand women better, and to get better with them (story of 99% of the people here I guess ) Throughout my life I've had plenty of girls show interest, but for some reason I usually tend to screw up. In retrospect, especially after reading some material on pickup, I realize how many times I've screwed up, and how badly I've screwed up on several occasions.
Besides screwing up with the girls that show interest, I've never really approached a girl yet. I don't mean as in being a social retard when it comes to girls, e.g. I don't have any trouble whatsoever talking to girls when we're in the same class, we work together, when I just get to know a new girl by chance, or anything that kinda establishes a social connection. But I've never, ever in my life just walked up to a girl I don't know and tried hitting on her.
I've also never initiated any dates, tried to kiss a girl before she kissed me etc etc etc. I've actually never even asked a girl out on a date, unless she already suggested it. I think the main reason for all this is a fear of rejection, which is another thing I want to work on through pickup. I don't want to rely on having the luck to have girls approach me anymore, I want to do more than that.
