Did you even think about your "suicide" opener? Because its has to be one of the worst openers I have heard. What girl is going to be interested in you when you tell her you have suicidal thoughts? What would you think if a girl used that line on you? Would you think she was joking or serious and messed up mentally?

As far as using your medical condition to open girls with, don't even bother. As girls will see that you have bad genes and you will come off as weak due to your medical condition.

Well I did manage to chat up a girl by talking about previous heart surgery but she was a cardiac nurse and we'd already got into a conversation by the time it came up.

I'm going to agree that talking about suicide as an opener is a really bad idea and frankly its rather bleak for a situation which is meant to be light hearted and fun. Add to that some people do know others who have real problems (I have more than one friend who tried to top themselves) and will think of it as very poor taste. To do this would be socially retarded.

No disrespect man but i'd try and keep the health and suicide openers away, a lot of women will surely freak out, you can do better than that. If someone came up to me about suicide i would think they're a sicko.

There are so many openers around, just pick one up and get some material canned.

Well at least you didn't make the mistake of using it in real life. I remember when I was starting out I said "I've seen people in slaughter houses having more fun than you."

That didn't go down well, though I did bump into her outside the club and she apologized for not having a better sense of humour about it. Still it was a really unpleasant opener but live and learn and after all thats what you're here for. :wink:

Also I don't think I'd take an insulin pump clubbing anyway. :P
